The Allen Mustangs put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past Wewoka with a 54-48 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Allen also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Wewoka still got an impressive performance from Timber Carter, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Carter hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jhaivyn Patton, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Allen pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Wewoka, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.
Allen will head out on the road to face off against Vanoss at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wewoka, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dale at 6:30 p.m. Dale will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
