The Edgemont Moguls's nine-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They blew past Oelrichs 60-27 on the road. Edgemont's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Edgemont to victory were Sebastian Morse and Keaton Darrow. Morse dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Darrow scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Darrow has scored all season. Cian Waite was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Edgemont's victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-8. As for Oelrichs, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Edgemont's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hyannis at 5:45 p.m. on January 16th. As for Oelrichs, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against New Underwood at 5:30 p.m.
