Citronelle is 2-8 against McIntosh since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Citronelle Wildcats will be playing at home against the McIntosh Demons at 7:30 p.m. Citronelle will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 321st, while McIntosh is ranked 119th).
Last Tuesday, Citronelle came up short against Faith Academy and fell 55-46.
In what's become a running theme this season, McIntosh gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They breezed by Fruitdale on the road to the tune of 89-33. McIntosh's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Citronelle dropped their record down to 4-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for McIntosh, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-3.
