Bismarck had won three straight games and Caedmon Keithley did his part to make it four on Thursday. The Lions simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Smackover Buckaroos 58-21 for which the team can thank Keithley, who rushed for 220 yards and three TDs on only seven carries, and also picked up 56 receiving yards and one touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 89-yard run.
Bismarck didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Clayton Martinez and Keithley.
Bismarck's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Smackover, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1.
