Victory Christian was led to victory by Shepard Sargent and Peyton Scott. Sargent almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, nine assists, and 12 steals, while Scott scored 26 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. The matchup was Scott's 14th in a row with at least ten points. Caden Brunson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds.
St. Bernard Prep bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Victory Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
