St. Bernard Prep has struggled against Victory Christian recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Victory Christian was led to victory by Shepard Sargent and Peyton Scott. Sargent almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, nine assists, and 12 steals, while Scott scored 26 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. The matchup was Scott's 14th in a row with at least ten points. Caden Brunson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds.
St. Bernard Prep bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Victory Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Bernard Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
