Elkhart Christian Academy can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the LaVille Lancers  an   8-0 shutout. The  win was some much needed relief for Elkhart Christian Academy as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Chloe Herbster made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Herbster was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases.
 In other batting news,  Mya Ott was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-1.  Lily Shannon was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
 Elkhart Christian Academy now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for LaVille, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with that  defeat, which was their 15th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Elkhart Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Prairie Heights at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Prairie Heights is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7  runs per game  this season. As for LaVille, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Culver Community at 5:00  p.m. LaVille is facing Culver Community at the right time seeing as Culver Community is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
