Hopefully Arcata is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Del Norte in California (Arcata is ranked 407th, while Del Norte is ranked 826th).
Arcata posted their biggest win since November 25, 2023 on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 68-43 margin over Rancho Cotate.
Del Norte suffered their closest loss yet this season on Thursday. They fell just short of Fortuna by a score of 42-40. Del Norte has struggled against Fortuna recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Arcata now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Del Norte, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Arcata against Del Norte when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 67-33 win. Does Arcata have another victory up their sleeve, or will Del Norte turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
