Their game three weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They made easy work of Elgin/Pope John two weeks ago and carried off a 46-16 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Twin Loup lost to Kenesaw last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 7-74. Twin Loup were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-60.
Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing's win lifted them to 1-2 while Twin Loup's loss dropped them down to 1-2. In their win, Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing relied heavily on junior Wyatt Wagner, who rushed for 132 yards and 3 touchdowns. Twin Loup will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
