The losing side was boosted by Jayden Williams, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Braylen Ollison, who scored nine points along with ten assists and eight rebounds.
Even though they lost, Pamlico County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Carteret only pulled down six offensive rebounds.
Meanwhile, Jones' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Northside - Pinetown 71-42. Jones was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-15.
Pamlico County's record now sits at 8-8. As for Jones, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
