Hailey Schmidt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Schmidt was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Addilyn Watts was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Hiliana Ayala also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Ooltewah has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.
