Vacaville is 8-2 against Rodriguez since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. Rodriguez took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Vacaville, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, Vacaville got the win against Sacramento by a conclusive 26-1. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.
Maddie Rhodus made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Rhodus was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 6-for-6 with four runs, one double, and one RBI. Those six hits gave her a new career-high.

Vacaville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .816. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez lost 9-2 to Pioneer on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.
Ellie Steiger and Jasmyn White stepped up to the plate in a big way. Steiger went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while White went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.
Vacaville pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.7 runs over those games. As for Rodriguez, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
Friday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Vacaville has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .495. However, it's not like Rodriguez struggles in that department as they've averaged .455. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Vacaville beat Rodriguez 8-5 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
