South Webster had lost five straight on the road, but  on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 10-12 to make it six. They fell  7-4 to the Dawson-Bryant Hornets. On Dawson-Bryant's side,  Abbie Deeds spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 15 Ks. Deeds has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than ten  strikeouts in 18 consecutive appearances.
