St. Patrick are packing up and hiking across state lines for their matchup on Friday. They will challenge Pope John Paul II on the road at 7:00 PM. St. Patrick is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
St. Patrick were able to grind out a solid win over Mount Olive last week, winning 19-6. No one had a better game by the numbers than senior Presley Harrison, who brought his A game into the match. He caught passes for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, everything went Pope John Paul II's way against Westminster Academy as they made off with a 31-0 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-0. We'll see which team can carry over they success and which team inevitably falls when Pope John Paul II and St. Patrick clash.
