The Seminole Seminoles will head out to face off against the Lake Mary Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Seminole took a loss when they played away from home back in September, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 43-21 margin over Lake Brantley. The Seminoles pushed the score to 40-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots cut but never quite recovered from.
Seminole got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Anthony Gay III out in front who picked up 120 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Kemahri Freeman also helped out as he racked up 105 rushing yards.
Seminole was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 305 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Seminole's defense and their seven sacks. Terrence Thompson Jr was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He has become a key player for Seminole: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least one sack, but 1-2 otherwise. Kamoi Stevenson was another major factor on D, making six total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Meanwhile, Lake Mary was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past North Miami Beach 45-13. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Chargers are ranked 191st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lake Mary's win came from a few key players Seminole will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Noah Grubbs, who threw for 259 yards and four touchdowns. What's more, he racked up 121 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Oshea Faison did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 76 receiving yards.
The victory made it two in a row for Lake Mary and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.0 points over those games. As for Seminole, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Seminole took a serious blow against Lake Mary in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 42-3. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Seminoles were down 28-3.
