Drew Grego put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Tuesday. He wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. The pitching appearance was his sixth straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Grego and Bellevue West will challenge Creighton Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Grego's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Thunderbirds' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Grego and the Thunderbirds surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Monday's match.
