The Falcon Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Sand Creek on the road to the tune of 70-13. Falcon has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 24 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Falcon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Macey Fothergill, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 steals. Fothergill is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Howard, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Falcon and bumps their season record up to 7-7. As for Sand Creek, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falcon will take on Elizabeth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Elizabeth is ranked 169th, while Falcon is ranked 163rd). As for Sand Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
