The Great Plains Lutheran Panthers have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a   48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elkton/Lake Benton. Great Plains Lutheran has not had much luck with Elkton/Lake Benton recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Great Plains Lutheran lost  on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Olivia Holmen, who  scored nine points along with six  rebounds and four  blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madeline Prahl, who  scored nine points along with two  steals.
 Great Plains Lutheran's defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 10-4. As for Elkton/Lake Benton, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
 Great Plains Lutheran will head out on the road to  square off against  Webster at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Elkton/Lake Benton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Deuel at 7:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
