Mason Mccarty Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Crawfordsville got the W thanks in part to Mason Mccarty playing the best football he has all season. Mccarty rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 74 yards and two touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
With the victory, Crawfordsville broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6. Mccarty and Crawfordsville will welcome Cascade at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Braeden Hites Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Braeden Hites produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Crawfordsville to the win on Friday. Hites rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.
Hites must have Frankfort's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Hites saw the Hot Dogs), he rushed for 91 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.

Another Game with at Least 105 Rushing Yards from Rolando Castillo
Rolando Castillo's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 105+ rushing yards. He made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Frankfort is on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9. Castillo and Frankfort will face off against Huntington North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sutton Fulwider's big game helped extend Danville's winning streak to eight on Friday. Fulwider turned in nothing short of a gem, making five total tackles and defending two passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Danville pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Fulwider and Danville will face off against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Malachi Walden Goes Supernova in Tri-West Hendricks Victory
Rounding off our Top Five is Malachi Walden of Tri-West Hendricks. Walden threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown. He has become a key player for Tri-West Hendricks: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Southmont had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Walden it was a similar story. Walden rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry the last time he and the Mounties duked it out back in October of 2023.
