Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers last Tuesday. Paulding skirted past Parkway 33-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Paulding has posted since December 30, 2024.

Kayleigh Dunham produced another solid effort putting up seven points in addition to seven boards and six blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more blocks the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tori Schlatter, who posted six points and three steals.
Delta hadn't beaten Liberty Center on the road since January 16, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Panthers took their game with ease, bagging a 45-16 win over the Tigers. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 25 points or more this season.
Delta found their leader in sophomore Anna Lohman, who shot 42% from the field on her way to 12 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keagyn Gillen, who went 5-for-6 en route to 10 points and five boards.
Delta was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.
Paulding's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points over those games. As for Delta, their record now sits at 18-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Paulding has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Delta struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Paulding strolled past Delta when the teams last played back in February of 2025 by a score of 46-29. Will Paulding repeat their success, or does Delta has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
