Gavin Harrold went supernova for Penn Cambria, rushing for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 25 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Harrold was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards. Carter McDermott was in the mix as well, providing Penn Cambria with two touchdowns.
Penn Cambria's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26 points. As for Bishop McCort, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Penn Cambria will square off against Bald Eagle Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bald Eagle Area is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Bishop McCort, they will head out on the road to face off against Philipsburg-Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Philipsburg-Osceola is ranked 342nd, while Bishop McCort is ranked 360th).
