It was another big night for Corey Austin, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Hector Mares, who scored eight points.
Van Vleck is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Brazos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.
Van Vleck will head out on the road to square off against Danbury at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Danbury: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while Van Vleck has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road. Brazos will take on Boling at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
