Baseball Recap: Evart Has No Trouble Against Manton

Evart got themselves on the board against Manton on Tuesday, but Manton never followed suit. They blew past the Rangers 9-0. The match marked the Wildcats' most dominant win of the season so far.

Sean Jackson was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Evart's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Manton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Evart is set to face off against their familiar foe Beal City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Manton will square off against rival Lake City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
