Last Wednesday, the Zanesville Blue Devils were out to avenge their 54-36 loss to the Morgan Raiders from their previous meeting last January, but they had no such luck. Zanesville was just a three-ball shy of a win and fell 38-36 to Morgan.
The Blue Devils' overall record fell to 7-15. Morgan's victory brought them up to 12-9.
The Blue Devils will take on Maysville Wednesday. Zanesville is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. Morgan will look to defend their home court Wednesday against Buckeye Trail. Buckeye Trail took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Morgan's good fortune.
