After four games on the road, South Bend is heading back home. They will take on the Chief Leschi Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Bend will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while Chief Leschi is ranked 134th).
South Bend suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2023 on Thursday. They were outmatched by Ocosta on the road and fell 72-39.
Despite the loss, South Bend had strong showings from Adam Mora, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Michael Nunez, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mora has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Chief Leschi can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Evergreen Lutheran 73-34 at home. The victory was nothing new for Chief Leschi as they're now sitting on six straight.
South Bend's defeat was their 15th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-14. As for Chief Leschi, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
