Baseball Recap: Heritage Has No Trouble Against Titusville

Heritage won the last time they faced Titusville and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers blew past the Terriers 13-2. Considering the Panthers have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Pattee, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Heritage is 8-1 when Pattee posts two or more runs, but 7-9 otherwise. Adrial Diaz Lopez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Heritage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Titusville only posted an OBP of .200.

Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Titusville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Titusville, they will take on Cocoa at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Terriers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a 19-game losing streak.
