Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Willard walked away with it. They blew past the Otsego Knights 3-0 on Thursday. The Crimson Flashes are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.
While Willard won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-18, 25-20.
Leah Weiss paced Willard's offense, picking up 13 kills. Weiss got some help from Mya Stephens and her 19 assists. Weiss was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
Willard's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Otsego, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
