Softball Recap: Creekside Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Creekside Christian Academy managed to slip by Peachtree Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Creekside Christian Academy Cougars lost 13-6 to the Peachtree Academy Panthers on Tuesday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 11-9.

Kyra Ware was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Aviana Mathis was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Ware wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Creekside Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Peachtree Academy will try to stop Skipstone Academy's four-game winning streak when they meet at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
