Fredonia waltzed into their contest on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Southwestern Trojans. The Hillbillies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.
Danielle Palisin made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Fredonia got a massive performance out of Jenna Fryberger, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Fryberger has posted since back in May of 2024. Callie Draggett was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Fredonia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .410 or higher in four consecutive games.
