After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ganado, The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took down Bloomington 39-22. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Skidmore-Tynan's zero-point performance the game before.
Kolton Lopez had a dynamite game for Skidmore-Tynan, rushing for 245 yards and four touchdowns. Jacob Chavarria got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Skidmore-Tynan's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Wyatt Widner and his two sacks.
Despite the loss, Bloomington still got an impressive performance from Cebron Taylor, who gained 124 total yards and a touchdown.
Skidmore-Tynan's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Bloomington, their loss was their third straight at home , which bumped their record down to 4-6.
Skidmore-Tynan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bloomington also has no future games currently scheduled.
