The biggest upset of the week belonged to Connally, who took down 91st ranked Connally, 35-21.
China Spring moved up to 199 from 267 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region III District 17. The Cougars climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Cadets 35-21.
Lorena's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Harris Coleman threw for 182 yards and Tyler Ellis had 87 yards receiving. On the ground Coleman chipped in 211 yards. Cole Channon helped Lorena's passing attack out by catching two balls for 71 yards.
Robinson's Zach Sullivan and Cody Brooks have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sullivan has thrown for 1095 yards this season, while Brooks has 25 catches for 596 yards. The Leopards' Coleman leads the league in rushing yards with 1148.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Rockets take on China Spring. Robinson's offense has recorded 258 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Mark Bell's team has permitted only 173 on the year.
A big matchup in 3A Region III District 17 this week will be when the Cougars take on Tommy Allison's team. China Spring is currently in fifth, while the Rockets are in first.
