The St. Charles Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 67-53 bruising from Lebanon. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Charles in their matchups with Lebanon: they've now lost three in a row.
Bodie Cox was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with two steals for Lebanon. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cox has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kendall Bybee, who scored eight points.
St. Charles dropped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lebanon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season.
St. Charles will head out on the road to challenge North Point at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Point will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Lebanon, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Warrensburg at 12:30 p.m. on January 27th.
