While the Ridgeline Falcons couldn't quite beat the Ferris Saxons on Friday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 20-point loss they were dealt last Tuesday. Ridgeline fell just short of Ferris by a score of 60-58. It was the first time this season that Ridgeline let down their fans at home.
Despite the loss, Ridgeline saw an underclassman step up: Caden Andreas scored 20 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Andreas has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brayden Allen, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Ridgeline's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4. As for Ferris, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeline will take on Cheney at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheney has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 615 points over their last ten games. As for Ferris, they will be playing at home against Mead at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mead is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
