Umatilla extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-7. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ocoee Knights. Even though they lost, the Bulldogs' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.4 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Chloe Rumford and Hailey Bates stepped up to the plate in a big way. Rumford went 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBI, while Bates went 3-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one double. That double was Bates' first of the season. Another player making a difference was Abigail Bradshaw, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
