The Lafayette County Cougars''s four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They blew past Foreman 58-0 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Lafayette County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lafayette County was led to victory by Jaiden Stewart and Andrew Mack. Stewart picked up 248 receiving yards and four touchdowns, while Mack rushed for 135 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. Stewart was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 67 yards.
Another reason for the win was Lafayette County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Tasean Gulley and Alex Gutierrez who racked up six sacks between them.
Lafayette County's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Foreman, their loss was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10.
Lafayette County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Foreman also has no future games currently scheduled.
