Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brusly walked away with it. They put the hurt on the West Ouachita Chiefs with a sharp 13-3 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 21 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Brusly is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-5-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for West Ouachita, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 26-12 record.
