Baseball Recap: Evansville Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Evansville lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Brodhead/Juda, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Blue Devils beat the Cardinals on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-1. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The win (which was Evansville's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Brodhead/Juda, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Evansville will venture away from home to take on Brodhead at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Brodhead/Juda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
