Make it nine blowout wins for the Stratford Spartans this season. They put the hurt on Cy-Fair with a sharp 60-34 victory on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Stratford has posted since November 28, 2023.
Loss or not, Cy-Fair got some senior leadership from Aries Tovar and Viviyn Mcleod. Tovar scored six points along with six rebounds and four blocks, while Mcleod. scored 16 points.
Stratford has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Cy-Fair, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-16.
