Deer Valley lost against Freedom last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Wolverines took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.
 Deer Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 28-26, 25-19,  25-11.
 SaLeah Maka paced Deer Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Maka got some help from  Mikaila Balingit and her 20 assists.  Alliyah Morauda controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 Freedom found their leader in freshman  Olivia Reyes, who  had 19  digs and three  aces. Reyes is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
Deer Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Freedom, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record  this season.
As of now, neither Deer Valley nor Freedom have any future games scheduled.
