Baseball Recap: West Has No Trouble Against Clifton

While West put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Clifton. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Cubs. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for West and bumps their season record up to 13-7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Clifton, they dropped their record down to 5-14-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, West will challenge Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Troy will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something West surely won't give up without a fight. Clifton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
