Baseball Recap: Central Hardin Wins Going Away Against Meade County

Central Hardin's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Meade County Green Waves with a sharp 7-1 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bruins as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Devin Hubbard was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Central Hardin's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-11 when he doesn't).

Central Hardin hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Meade County struck out seven times.

Central Hardin's record now sits at 9-11. As for Meade County, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Hardin will welcome North Hardin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Meade County, they will be playing at home against Male at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
