If Lakehill Prep was riding high fresh off their 78-30 takedown of Burton Adventist Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lakehill Prep Warriors took a hard 54-36 fall against the Yavneh Academy Bulldogs on Sunday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Preston Corder, who posted nine points. Corder is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kalen White, who scored six points.

Darren Sacher had an outrageously good game for Yavneh Academy as he went 10 for 18 on his way to 24 points. The dominant performance gave Sacher a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendy Eber, who had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Lakehill Prep's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7. As for Yavneh Academy, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakehill Prep will face off against Lone Star North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakehill Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.5 points per game this season. Yavneh Academy has already played their next contest (against Chisholm Trail Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
