Make it six blowout wins for the Notre Dame de Sion Storm this season. They put the hurt on Warrensburg with a sharp 55-33 victory on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Notre Dame de Sion.
It was another big night for Abby Wendte, who scored 16 points along with four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Kylenna Potts was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
The victory got Notre Dame de Sion back to even at 8-8. As for Warrensburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
Notre Dame de Sion won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Ruskin will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Storm are ranked 127th). As for Warrensburg, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrisonville is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
