The Lyman Greyhounds lost against the Lake Mary Rams back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Lyman took a hard 59-42 fall against Lake Mary. While losing is never fun, Lyman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 379th, while Lake Mary is ranked 89th).
Despite the loss, Lyman still got an impressive performance from Max Mattingly, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Davion Jones, who scored 9 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Lyman and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Lake Mary, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Lyman is on the road again on Friday and play against Oviedo at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Oviedo focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday. As for Lake Mary, they will be playing at home against Lake Brantley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
