Scotland Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Layla Nicolosi, who scored 28 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Nicolosi has scored at least a third of Scotland Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Neff, who scored 14 points along with seven steals and six assists.
Meanwhile, Southview Christian entered their tilt with New Manna Christian with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Southview Christian managed a 44-40 win over New Manna Christian on Friday.
Scotland Christian Academy's win was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40 points. As for Southview Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
Scotland Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Southview Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 46-40 win.
