The Liberty Lancers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 57-46 to Columbine. Liberty has struggled against Columbine recently, as their match on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Liberty still got an impressive performance from Jacie Bunck, who scored 26 points along with 5 rebounds. Ali Vohsman was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 9 rebounds.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Columbine, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Liberty is on the road again on Monday and play against Air Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. As for Columbine, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cherry Creek at 7:00 p.m. Cherry Creek has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
