Even though the Sky View Bobcats scored an imposing 64 points on Friday, the Madison Bobcats still came out on top. Madison took their match against Sky View 77-64. For Madison, this counts as revenge for the 72-57 defeat Sky View walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Liam Guthrie, who scored 17 points. The matchup was Guthrie's third in a row with at least ten points. Tanner Davis was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Madison's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Sky View, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Madison will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Idaho Falls at 7:30 p.m. Sky View will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Manti at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
