The Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights were the 56-50 winner over the Lewisburg Green Dragons when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Neumann Regional Academy was dealt a 66-33 defeat at the hands of Lewisburg on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Neumann Regional Academy has scored all season.
Neumann Regional Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Messiah Baldwin, who scored 12 points. The matchup was Baldwin's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Tyrick Moy was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Neumann Regional Academy has fallen quite a ways from their 21-6 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for Lewisburg, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Neumann Regional Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Hughesville at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lewisburg will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Dallas at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
