Cambridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Megan Day, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Day has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Crandall, who scored six points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Waterford-Halfmoon's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Cambridge, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.
Waterford-Halfmoon will head out on the road to face off against Emma Willard at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cambridge, they will be playing at home against Greenwich at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Greenwich will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
