Robert Tripp Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Northwood's Robert Tripp, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tripp rushed for 126 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.4).
Unfortunately for Graham, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Tripp. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Tripp saw the Red Devils), he picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Devin Witherspoon was instrumental in extending Cummings's winning streak to five on Friday. Witherspoon's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards.
Cummings' win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Witherspoon and Cummings will face off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brandon Powell Turns in Another Game with at Least 169 Rushing Yards
Brandon Powell's big game helped extend North Moore's winning streak to three on Friday. Powell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 169 rushing yards.
On the year, Powell has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 148.9 rushing yards per game.

Southeast Alamance Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Drew Easter
Southeast Alamance picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Drew Easter. Nobody could stop Easter as he picked up 21 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Southeast Alamance's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Easter and Southeast Alamance will play host again on Friday to welcome Seaforth, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.

Cummings picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jaidyn Briskey. Briskey wasn't messing around, rushing for 51 yards and two touchdowns. The match was his fourth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made two total tackles.
This year, Briskey has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 rushing yards per game.
