Cape Hatteras' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Paizley Schultz, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, and Kylie Philips who scored 12 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Schultz scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Bryan, who scored two points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Bear Grass Charter is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Cape Hatteras, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-6.
